Celebrating 25 years of EUROMOT

Together with political representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament and the EU Member States our member companies discussed “The Future Challenges for Nonroad Mobile Machinery”.

An opening address by Georg Diderich / President of EUROMOT – DEUTZ AG was followed by keynote speeches by Dr Philipp Troppmann, European Commission – DG GROW Unit C/4, Automotive and Mobility Industries, Dr Bruno Viegas, Medium Combustion Plant Directive and EU Air Quality Teams of the UK Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs and by Prof Dr Eichlseder, Head of the Institute for Combustion Engines and Thermodynamics from the Technical University Graz, Austria.

The panel discussion was attended by Prof Dr Eichlseder, Dr Bruno Viegas, Dr Philipp Troppmann, Dr Karl-Heinz Zierock, German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, Dr Magnus Lindgren, Planning, Vehicles, Machinery and Fuels – Swedish Transport Administration and Dr Paul Williams, Manager European Regulatory Affairs, Emission Regulations & Conformance – CATERPILLAR. It was moderated by Dr Fraser Cameron, Senior Advisor at the European Policy Centre, Brussels.

The event panel discussion was concluded by closing remarks by Dr Peter Scherm, General Manager of EUROMOT.
