Madrid
On 5-6 June 2019 the 32nd Madrid Forum will take place. This forum gathers, at least once a year, key stakeholders across the European gas sector to discuss opportunities and challenges related to the creation of an internal gas market in the EU.
EUROMOT is closely monitoring and contributing to the activities of the forum by participating in two Ad-hoc Task Forces:
- A Task Force evaluating ways to reduce Methane emissions produced along the whole gas chain;
- A CEN Task Force working to set a harmonized standard for gas quality in Europe.
The Madrid meeting is surely a key step; however, the work of the two Task Forces is still ongoing: EUROMOT will actively keep contributing to this process.
