EUROMOT has been granted observer status at WG18 on EV Batteries of CEN/TC 301
EUROMOT’s objective is to pool the resources of key engine and alternative powertrain manufacturers to drive smart regulation and sustainable innovation. In this context, we support the rapid expansion of the global battery market and are actively contributing to the development of a strong and competitive European battery industry for industrial applications.
The observer status enables us to follow and provide technical input to the CEN/TC 301 discussions, which will address the breadth and depth of standards under development. Our main topics are the removability, replaceability and 2nd life of EV batteries.
